Behind on payments
Selling when payments are behind
If payments, taxes, or insurance on the house are behind, you can still ask for a cash offer. We buy houses in five Pennsylvania counties.
Being behind does not mean you have to fix the house and list it. Tell us what notices you have received. We use that to understand timing. We do not give legal, tax, or credit advice, and an offer is not a promise about your credit.
A foreclosure is a separate situation with its own page. If a case has already been filed, read that page too and talk with a lawyer.
You can leave unwanted items behind. If tenants are in place, you can sell with them there. The closing date is one you agree to.
- Tell us about past-due notices on step 2.
- We buy as-is.
- You are not obligated to accept.
Questions
Will a sale catch up what is owed?
We cannot promise that. The written offer shows the price. A title company will show what has to be paid at closing. Read both before you sign.
Do I have to tell you that payments are behind?
It helps. The second step of the form asks about past-due notices. You can also say you are not sure.
